Fruitcakes img1 Our Fruitcakes are made from scratch, using only the best ingredients. i.e. A grade fruit, Quality Marzipan etc. The fruit is soaked in rum before hand. The iced fruitcakes consist of a layer of Marzipan, then a layer of white icing. Our head Pastrycook , Peter Elliott is the only one who cooks and ices the cakes. Pirjo Elliott then assists with the decorating. We can bake sizes up to a 12" square and can do either rounds, squares or hearts in most sizes. All wedding cake enquiries are done on a quotation basis and we ask that you inform the staff as to what you are after and we will contact you the following day at the earliest. N.B Please order your fruitcake as early as possible. 3 Weeks notice or more is ideal. We bake our fruitcakes in mixes, not individually, so whilst we usually have fruitcake on hand to decorate, we do not always have all the sizes in stock.
